Valued for its natural durability, immaculate look, dimensional stability and thermal efficiency.

Western Red Cedar sourced by Mill Works is slow grown in The Pacific North West of Canada. Western red cedar comes in a variety of charming colours, ranging from cream, dark chocolate-brown, to salmon pink.

Western Red Cedar is a very popular choice for external work, with all of the above and with certified sustainable credentials makes cedar ideal for a low-maintenance, contemporary look.

SIBERIAN LARCH – Larix decidua

Famed for being very durable and an aesthetically stunning specie. Siberian Larch sawn boards are available from a few lengths to whole packs.

Mill Works source from old-growth, slow grown logs, plentiful in the vast forest region of Northern Europe and sourced with independent certification for sustainability.

We supply two grades, Grade A (unsorted) which has relatively few knots for a clean look. Grade B (sawfalling) has more knots, which gives a more rustic option.

THERMOWOOD D (Redwood) – Pinus sylvestris

Using the finest Scandinavian Redwood, an attractive dark brown, durable and perfect for external Cladding and Decking applications.

Thermowood is produced by heat treating selected Scandinavian Redwood in a unique continuous kilning process, heating the timber to 212° Celsius whilst protecting it with steam. This results in a naturally durable, attractive timber without the need for toxic chemical preservative treatment
