Millworks source Thermowood from carefully selected Redwood, by leading Finnish sawmills. Natural, thermal modification enhances the wood’s natural attributes resulting in a desirable dark brown, which is incredibly stable and durable.
Dimensional stability – Due to the thermal modification process Thermowood is less likely to warp, twist or cup due to the inability to absorb or lose moisture. The low moisture content achieves a superior, smooth finish when machined.
Resin free – As a result of the thermal modification process, the timber does not secrete resin even in high temperatures making it a practical and attractive choice for long-lasting garden decks.
