How do I calculate how much timber I need?
You will need to calculate the square meterage of your project on and then we encourage you to add at least 10% onto that figure for to allow for wastage, defect cutting or on-site damage.

Can I see the products before I order?

We are happy to provide samples to aid in your decision making, please contact our team to discuss your requirements.
Are your timber products sustainable?
Yes, all our products have either FSC® or PEFC™ certification. Both schemes embody a commitment from the beginning of a product’s life cycle to conservation principles, as well as social and economic considerations.
Can you provide certification for my product?
Yes, full chain of custody certification and Class B certificates of conformity for fire retardancy can be provided on request.
How is your timber graded?
Millworks adheres to strict industry grading rules which describe the extent and limitations of the characteristics permitted in a piece of timber having regard to the end use in which the grade is intended. Specific grading can be requested to suit your project.
Do internal products need to acclimatise?
We recommend allowing all internal products to acclimatise before installing. In most instances 1 – 2 weeks is sufficient for timber to settle to its intended environment.
