Millworks source Thermowood from carefully selected Redwood, by leading Finnish sawmills. Natural, thermal modification enhances the wood’s natural attributes resulting in a desirable dark brown, which is incredibly stable and durable.
Dimensional stability – Due to the thermal modification process Thermowood is less likely to warp, twist or cup due to the inability to absorb or lose moisture. The low moisture content achieves a superior, smooth finish when machined.
Natural beauty – An accurate, high-quality wire brushing process enhances the natural structure of wood. The brushing process makes the accentuates the timbers visible grain pattern.
