Benefits of MillFix® Screws for Timber Cladding

Stainless steel

Made of hardened stainless steel, MillFix® screws offer a durable solution for all installation types in any location. The system can be used for all service classes 1, 2 and 3 in accordance with EN 1995-Eurocode 5.

Secure fastening

MillFix® screws have multiple features that promote ease of installation and secure fastening. Their coarse thread is equipped with sharply rolled cutting ribs to allow for a faster screwing in process and increased binding. Thanks to the easy drill trip, screw-in resistance is reduced, and therefore no pre-drilling is required.

Engineered for Millworks profiles

Available for both secret and face fixed profiles, MillFix® screws have been specifically engineered to ensure a long service life for optimum timber performance in all Millworks profiles.

Complete system

MillFix® timber fixing screws can be used in conjunction with ventilation strip on open rain screen installations. Ventilation strip helps to protect the timber substructure from moisture and compensates for the natural movement of the façade boards. By creating a gap between timber elements, ventilation is improved and the pressure on fixings is reduced.

Reduced movement

All MillFix® screws have a 50% higher breaking torque than A2 and A4 stainless steel making them an ideal choice for any timber species. MillFix® TX15 screws are especially suited for timber species with a small-medium or medium movement class such as BCLarch® and ICENILarch®.

Visual interest

MillFix® screws have been designed with aesthetics in mind, featuring a small ornamental head to help with visible detailing. Milling ribs allow for easy countersinking into all species of timber with the head finishing flush with the surface of the board.
