ICENILarch®
Millworks ICENILarch® is a durable, UK-grown larch that offers a sustainable alternative to imported species such as Siberian Larch timber cladding. Sourced exclusively from British forests, ICENILarch® pays tribute to the ancient Iceni tribes of East Anglia, celebrating both our regional heritage and our commitment to sourcing local materials. It is a reliable choice for those seeking a UK-grown timber that combines visual appeal with environmental responsibility.
Benefits of ICENILarch®
ICENILarch® Grading
Millworks Grade C
Millworks C Grade timber features prominent knots, grain variations, and other natural characteristics that are crucial for maintaining the integrity of the board. These visual characteristics are not a reflection of durability or quality. This grade is ideal for projects that wish to showcase the timber’s natural beauty with visible grain pattern and texture.
Knots are unlimited in this grade and are essential to certain species for board structural integrity.

ICENILarch® Applications
ICENILarch® is a naturally resilient softwood that provides reliable performance and distinctive character, making it an ideal choice for contemporary and traditional external timber cladding. With correct installation and regular maintenance, UK-grown larch, delivers a long-lasting, eco-friendly, and beautiful exterior cladding solution.

ICENILarch® Finishes
Surface Textures
In addition to our standard planed finish, surface texture can be added to create accentuated depth to the timber grain. Surface textures are recommended when coatings are applied to improve performance and enable enhanced adhesion and longevity.
Factory Coatings
In the correct conditions, ICENILarch® will weather to a silver-grey, if left untreated. Although naturally durable, ICENILarch® can be finished for protection against the elements. Millworks offers a range of factory coatings that serve both decorative and protective purposes, producing consistent results with a range of aesthetic options to suit your project.
Fire Treatment
FRX fire retardant can be pressure-impregnated into ICENILarch® under ISO-controlled conditions to meet national Building Regulations for Euroclass B or C compliance.

Fixings systems for ICENILarch®
MillFix® Screw System
Using the correct fixings is critical to the performance of timber cladding. MillFix screws deliver a clean and secure fixing for face fix and secret fix profiles ensuring optimal performance of the timber and factory coatings. Due to the movement class of ICENILarch® our profiles are recommended for face-fixing only. It is key to allow an adequate expansion gap between boards for long term performance.
