ThermoWood® Pine OrganoWood® Cladding is available in a range of lengths and manufactured in face fix, secret fix and secret clip system profiles, allowing designers and self‑builders to select the configuration that best supports the functional needs, performance expectations, and visual style of their project.
Finished with a smooth planed surface texture that emphasises the grain pattern of the board, and factory coated with OrganoWood®, a patented timber surface treatment that protects the timber from moisture and decay while it ages to a silver-grey finish.
ThermoWood® Pine is a thermally modified Scandinavian Pine that is renowned for its durability, stability, and resistance to decay, making it ideal for use across a range of external applications. It is sourced exclusively from International ThermoWood® Association members, ensuring transparency, traceability, and responsible forestry management.
Dimensional stability – ThermoWood’s patented thermal modification process enhances the timbers natural attributes and ensures long lasting stability. Highly resistant to warping, twisting and cupping, ThermoWood® Pine retains its structural integrity even in fluctuating temperatures or humidity, ensuring long-lasting performance in a variety of climates.
Coating longevity – The dimensional stability and absence of resin pockets ensures that factory coatings and treatments last longer with reduced maintenance needs compared to other coated timbers. Coatings stay intact and protective for longer and are less likely to degrade due to the expansion or contraction of the timber.
Sustainability – Sourced from well-managed Scandinavian forests ThermoWood® Pine is PEFC™ certified. The thermal modification process has been designed to minimise environmental impact and relies solely on heat and steam, making it safe for both indoor and outdoor use.
