Larch Self Build
Millworks were approached by this self-builder for timber cladding solutions. After discussing the options in the showroom on species, grades and profiles – Siberian Larch Cladding Grade B was chosen. The client felt the superior quality of Millworks grade and manufacturing finish would suit the project perfectly.
The Larch cladding has been left to weather naturally – to compliment the environment and other materials used.
Since publishing this case study, Siberian Larch is no longer available. To achieve a similar aesthetic we recommend BCLarch®, a PEFC™ certified, sustainable alternative that delivers long-lasting performance. If a factory coated finish is required, thermally modified species such as Abodo Vulcan®, Imbue™, ThermoWood® Ash and ThermoWood® Pine work best.
