The ‘Zinc House’, MIDLANDS

Larch cladding

The ‘Zinc House’ is part of a fabulous development that sits next to the ‘Larch House’. The envelope of this design is wrapped in Zinc, with Siberian Larch at the front to soften the look. Built by Ward Burges and designed by Studio Spicer architects – this house has been shown in Grand Designs.

Millworks supplied the ‘Grade A’  Siberian Larch manufactured to exacting standards. The layout of cladding is planed all round (PAR) with a 10mm shadow gap – for added detail. Left to weather naturally, the house will take on a silver/grey look to compliment the Zinc exterior, without compromising the natural durability of the Larch cladding.
