Millworks source Thermowood from carefully selected Redwood, by leading Finnish sawmills. Natural, thermal modification enhances the wood’s natural attributes resulting in a desirable dark brown, which is incredibly stable and durable.
Dimensional stability – Due to the thermal modification process Thermowood is less likely to warp, twist or cup due to the inability to absorb or lose moisture.
Rustic texture – Supplied as cut by our forestry partners, this rough sawn finish provides natural texture and rustic charm. Similar in appearance to reclaimed timber, this finish showcases saw and processing marks.
