Millworks Vertical Grain

Millworks vertical grain (VG), is a premium grade where the timber grain runs parallel to one another. This results in boards that are virtually free of any defects to the front face and edges.

The vertical grain configuration enhances board stability making it an ideal choice for contemporary projects and premium builds requiring a refined and elegant finish.

Abodo Vulcan® Applications

Surface Textures

In addition to our standard smooth-planed finish, Abodo Vulcan can be manufactured with a FineSawn finish. Recommended when coatings are applied this finish creates a clean and textured surface with regular saw lines on the board face.

Factory Coatings

Abodo Vulcan is supplied exclusively with a factory coating, ensuring consistent finish and long-term performance. Millworks offers factory coatings that serve both decorative and protective purposes, in a range of aesthetic options to suit your project requirements.

Fire Treatment

FRX fire retardant can be pressure-impregnated into Abodo Vulcan under ISO-controlled conditions to meet national Building Regulations for Euroclass B or C compliance.

Secret Clip System

The Secret Clip System is made up from precision grooved boards, coated aluminium rails and pre-spaced clips. Screw-free and fast to fit, it can be attached to walls, ceilings and flat surfaces, providing a seamless finish and consistent alignment between the boards.

MillFix® Screw System

Using the correct fixings is critical to the performance of timber cladding. MillFix screws deliver a clean and secure fixing for face fix and secret fix profiles ensuring optimal performance of the timber and factory coatings.
