Approached by a discerning self-builder to convert a family owned barn, the brief was simple. Contemporary style, budget in mind, respect to the original timber barn and a way to keep the warm natural tones of the timber.

Selected by the customer was Millworks® Siberian Larch factory coated to retain the golden natural tones of the timber. Pioneered by Millworks, Milltex® creates added texture in our manufacturing process for better lifespan and performance of coatings.

The profile selection enables secret-fixing using Millworks Millfix® system, not only does this give a clean fixing free appearance, this also protects the coating for better performance over time.
