In consideration of a more contemporary look, the homeowners decided to elevate rendered sections by wrapping areas of the extension in Western Red Cedar. The natural rich tones and celebrated aesthetics of this timber provides subtle contrast against the curved zinc roof and crisp bright render.
Opting to install the material in random lengths created a dynamic softness to the large areas of external cladding.
