Dutch Farmhouse
ThermoWood® Ash
This beautiful farmhouse renovation showcases how traditional structures and modern building methods can seamlessly coexist. This project preserved the building’s historic charm while introducing contemporary design elements, striking a perfect balance between rural heritage and modern living.
The project’s guiding principle was respect for the farmhouse’s history, ensuring its authentic character remained intact. Simultaneously, high quality materials and innovative installation techniques were used to revitalize the structure, creating a space that meets modern living needs without compromising its traditional essence.
The farmhouse’s cladding was carefully selected to enhance its rural surroundings. The natural colour palette reflects tones of the landscape, allowing the timber to harmoniously blend into its environment while featuring contemporary, clean lines. This sophisticated contrast between traditional architecture and modern materials revitalizes the building’s exterior, bringing a fresh yet timeless aesthetic.
The secret clip system was instrumental in achieving the project’s seamless blend of past and future. This innovative secret clip system allows for a secure and precise installation without visible fixings, preserving the farmhouse’s elegant and refined appearance. Additionally, the system’s precision-engineered design ensured an efficient and streamlined installation process, delivering long-term durability and a flawless finish.
